    The Gendreau group is the result of the merger of two sea world companies : Gendreau and Vif Argent; then of the takeover of La Perle des Dieux and Le Grand Lejon in 2015 and of Petit Pierre at the end of 2017.


    Those companies are specialized in the manufacture of canned fish, hors d'oeuvres, ambient ready meals  (cold and hot) and premium ready meals.

    The Gendreau group currently employs 542 employees who are committed to the company’s values: respect and customer satisfaction, performance, respect ofproducts and of our environment.

    Maison Gendreau presents a know-how of terroir with Petit Pierre products and especially its pilchard herring, a timeless part of the canned fish department!

    Pilchards are traditional fish cans made from whole herring, gutted and tailed, accompanied by tomato and oil sauce. The famous red oval can in which they are packaged, gives the Pilchards all its identity!
