Faced with Yuka-type apps, Ania created Num-Alim, a large database of French food products. This was done in partnership with the French fund for food and health (FFAS), the Avril Foundation (for the agricultural sector), and GS1 (which spearheaded Gencod) and was announced during the launch of its “1,000 days to eat better” manifesto.
Working closely with the food-processing sector regarding the regulatory framework for product labels, this portal aims to provide a digital identity card for the entire food range, including data that is verified and updated in real time. Next weekend, Carrefour will start delivering shopping in Marseille using electric cargo bikes that can carry 300 kg of goods.
